Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 3 Delta Downs Princess Stakes is on tap for this Saturday, November 23 from Delta Downs Racetrack in Vinton, Louisiana. Two year old fillies will take to Delta Downs's dirt track and race one mile for the winner's share of the nice $500,000 purse.
A small but quality field of seven will line up in the Delta Downs Princess Stakes - race 6 on Delta Downs's Saturday card. Post time is 3:43 PM. Let's take a look into the past performances of all seven entries for this lucrative Grade 3 stakes.
Concave - West Coast shipper Doug O`Neill trained filly won the Grade 1 Sorrento Stakes at Del Mar August 7 after a MSW score in her debut. She was a respectable third behind She`s a Tiger in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante August 31 and most recently finished a disappointing ninth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies - the only time she finished out of the money in her four career starts. Doug O'Neill has a good history in this race and we all know what Mario Gutierrez did on I'll Have Another!
Miss Behavior - has four career starts for trainer Phil Schoenthal with three impressive wins including the Grade 2 Matron Stakes at Belmont Park September 29 and one-second place finish which came last time out to Tea Time in the minor Sharp Cat Stakes at Belmont Park October 27. She stretches out and races away from home for the first time Saturday looking like the one to catch.
Bahnah - Bret Calhoun trained filly will take to the track for her fourth career start Saturday. She started her career with a bang - a win in the Grade 3 Schuylerville Stakes in a dead heat with Brazen Persuasion at Saratoga July 19 after a 4 1/2 furlong MSW score by 4 1/2 lengths in her debut at Churchill Downs June 6. Her last two starts haven't been great however - a fifth last time out after finishing first and getting disqualified in the minor My Trusty Cat Stakes on this track October 25 followed a disappointing sixth in the Grade 3 Schulerville at Saratoga September 1.Bahnah has been in the mix in all but one race in her career so far and should be competitive this week as well.

Appreciating - Mark Casse trainees in the field looked impressive in her first career start- a MSW score at Woodbine August 2 and followed that with a good third in the Grade 2 Natalma Stakes September 14. Tepin - will make her graded stakes debut Saturday for trainer Mark Casse. She is coming off an OK third in the minor Rags to Riches Stakes at Churchill Downs October 27 after breaking maiden in her second career start and a fourth in her debut in a MSW at Churchill Downs September 7.
Zip On - Randy Morse trained filly most recently finished sixth in the Grade 3 Jessamine Stakes at Keeneland October 9 in a race that she held the lead for some time.
