2013 Gulfstream Park Sprint Race Favorites

Bahamian Squall - raced to a sixth in the Grade 3 Swale Stakes in his only graded stakes action in March and followed that with a fifth in the Ocala Breeders' Stakes in April. In five starts since Bahamian Squall has finished either first or second in six starts - wins in an Allowance at Calder in May and at the Sunshine State Stakes two back and seconds in the Jack Dudley Sprint in November and last time out in the Sunshine Millions Sprint to Off the Jak being his best results. He was one of the best sprinters in 2011 and will be looking to reclaim that roll starting Saturday.

Swagger Jack - had five starts in 2012 - all Allowance Optional Claiming races with two wins and a second place finish. His one start in 2013 came January 17 on this track - an Allowance Optional Claiming score. He hasn't been in graded stakes company since May 2011 when he finished fifth in the Grade 2 American Turf Stakes at Churchill Downs but he enters the Park Sprint in good form.
