The streak came after a second in an Allowance and a Maiden Claiming score November 22. Irad Ortiz will be in the saddle of the 121 pound top weight from the inside post. He is the fields' top earner and the expected favorite Saturday.
Tiz Dark - Todd Pletcher trained colt has just two career starts with a win and a second place finish. He broke maiden last time out on this track by an impressive 6 one quarter lengths May 25 after a second in a similar race on that same track May 4. He makes his stakes debut in good form Saturday with John Velazquez guiding him. Tiz Dark comes with a lot of hype - let's see if he can deliver.
Captain Serious - Michael Hushion pupil has just three career starts with three wins - all as favorite. He made his stakes debut last time out and recorded an impressive win in this track - the minor Mike Lee Stakes after an Allowance score April 26 and a MSW win at first asking April 5. He looks ready for his graded stakes debut in his first try beyond seven furlongs and will have Jose Ortiz in the reins from gate 4.

Ulanbator - Ian Wilkes trainee has a win, a second and two third place finishes in six career starts and is coming off a good second in his stakes debut - behind Tapiture the Grade 3 Matt Winn Stakes at 9-1 odds at Churchill Downs June 14. Before that was a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming in May and a MSW score at Gulfstream in March. He has placed in his last three starts overall and looks OK ahead of this weekend. Spot - Nick Zito trained gelding has two wins and a second place finish in nine career starts but has failed to place in his last three starts. Last time out was a ninth in the Grade 2 Woody Stephens after a sixth in the Grade 3 Derby Trial and a seventh in the Grade 1 Florida Derby.
