Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 1 Claiborne Breeders' Futurity is on tap for Keeneland Race Course in Lexington, Kentucky this Saturday, October 4. Horses two years old will be involves as they takes to Keeneland's main track and race 1 1/16 miles for a chance to race the Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Santa Anita and a nice $500,000 purse.

Julien Leparoux will be in the irons from post 10 Saturday.
Bold Conquest - is coming off a good second ahead of Hashtag Bourbon in the Grade 2 Iroquois Stakes at Churchill Downs for trainer Steve Asmussen which followed a maiden score in his second career start in August and a second in his debut in a MSW at Saratoga in July. Rosie Napravnik will be in the reins Saturday from gate 6.
Conquest Tsunami - intriguing Mark Casse trained colt will try to remain undefeated - he has four career starts with four impressive wins. He started her career with a MSW score on this track in April and went on to consecutive minor stakes scores - the Victoria Stakes in June and the Colin Stakes in July - both results at Woodbine. Last time out was an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Woodbine August 23. Patrick Husbands will guide this impressive colt from post 7.
Firespike - is coming off a maiden score in his third career start for trainer Michael Maker - at Saratoga August 30. That win came after a third and a second respectively in his first two career starts. Mike Smith gets the call as Firespike looks to carry over some early career success into stakes company. He lines up in post 2 in his first start on dirt.
Mr. Z - has four career starts for trainer D. Wayne Lukas including three graded stakes already. Last time out was a disappointing fifth as 6-5 favorite in the Grade 3 Iroquois Stakes September 6 after a pair of good seconds - the Grade 2 Saratoga Special August 10 and the Grade 3 Sanford Stakes in July. This after breaking maiden at first asking in June. Jon Kenton Court has been tabbed to ride Mr. Z from post 4 Saturday.

Sharm - finished third, beaten by 14/3/4 lengths last time out in his graded stakes debut - the Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes at Saratoga September 1 which followed a third in a MSW and a fourth in a similar race in his career debut back in July. Luis Saez will ride for trainer D. Wayne Lukas from post 3.
W V Jetsetter - has looked good in his four career starts - two wins and two third place finishes. Last time out was a third in the Grade 2 Saratoga Special August 10 after two straight wins including the minor TTA Sales Futurity July 12. He has been competitive every time out and is expected to be so again Saturday starting from an unfortunate far outside post.
Tough Customer - Wayne Catalano trained colt will hit the track for just the second time Saturday off a 5 1/2 length maiden score at Churchill Downs September 26. He makes a huge step up in competition with Shaun Bridgmohan in the saddle from the inside post.
Carpe Diem - Todd Pletcher trained colt will race for the second time - the first being a 2 1/2 length wire-to-wire maiden score at Saratoga September 1. Legendary jockey John Velazquez will be in charge from post 5 Saturday.
Dekabrist - Gennadi Dorochenko trained colt has two wins in his first five career starts but has failed to place in his last three overall. Last time out was an eighth in the Grade 3 Iroquois Stakes September 6 after consecutive fifths - the Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes September 1 and the minor Birdonthewire Stakes at Gulfstream in July. Kerwin Clark has been tabbed to get Dekabrist back on track from gate 8.
Ike Walker - is coming off a fifth place finish in the Grade 3 Arlington-Washington Futurity September 6 after a maiden score in his second career start August 7 and a fourth in a MSW in his debut July 20. Robby Albarado gets the call from post 9 Saturday.
Keen Ice - broke maiden last time out for trainer Dale Romans in his second career start after a fourth in his debut at Ellis Park August 23. Corey Lanerie will be in the saddle from gate 10.
