Las Vegas, NV - Monmouth Park on the Jersey Shore will be the scene of the Grade 3 Pegasus Stakes on Father's Day Sunday, June 15. Three year olds will be featured as they take to Monmouth Park's dirt track and go 1 1/16 miles in search of the winner's share of the $150,000 purse.

Uncle Sigh - New York bred will race for the seventh time for trainer Gary Contessa and is coming off a somewhat disappointing fourteenth after setting the pace and tiring in the Kentucky Derby as one of the long shots. Before the Derby was a fifth in the Grade 1 Wood Memorial April 5 and a pair of good seconds - in the Grade 3 Gotham and behind Samraat in the Grade 3 Withers February 1. This after breaking maiden December 27 by an incredible 14 1/2 lengths. He has a win and three second place finishes in six career starts and will be looking to place for the first time in three starts - after hitting the board in his first four. Albano - Larry Jones trained colt looked to be on the Derby trail but didn't start a race in the Triple Crown - he hasn't been seen since March. Last time out was an OK fourth in the Grade 2 Louisiana Derby back on March 29 at Fair Grounds after a pair of good seconds in graded stakes action on that same track - the Grade 2 Risen Star February 22 and the Grade 3 LeComte January 18. He has two wins, two seconds and a third place finish in six career starts - competitive virtually every time out. Allstar - raced in stakes company for the first time March 29 and finished eighth in the Grade 1 Florida Derby for trainer Marcus Vitali and followed that with a fourth in the minor James W. Murphy Stakes at Pimlico May 17. He has two wins and a second place finish under his belt in seven career starts including an Allowance score at Calder February 28 and after breaking maiden in January in his third career start - also at Calder. He will have Orlando Boccachica guiding him from the outside post Sunday looking to hit the board for the first time in three races Sunday.

Lynx - Ontario bred Cathal Lynch trained gelding will make his stakes debut Sunday after seven career MSW starts resulted in a win (last time out May 25 at Parx) and a third place finish.
