Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 3 Autumn Miss Stakes is on tap for this Saturday, October 25 from Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California. A purse of $100,000 will be on the line for three year old fillies willing to go one mile on Santa Anita's turf track.
The Autumn Miss has attracted a full field of 10 plus four alternate entries to go in race 8 on Santa Anita's Saturday schedule. Post time is 4:30 PM. Let's take a peek into the past performances of all 14 possible entries for this Grade 3 stakes.
Lexie Lou - four time stakes winner enters off a very disappointing tenth as 3-2 choice in the Grade 2 Canadian Derby (her graded stakes debut) after a terrific three race win streak - the minor Wonder Where Stakes August 10, the prestigious Queen's Plate July 6 against the boys and a terrific 4 1/2 length win in the Woodbine Oaks June 15 for trainer Mark Casse. She now has six wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in 14 career starts and looked unbeatable before her ugly effort last time out. Lexie Lou should be prime for a bounce back Saturday when she leaves from gate 5 with Corey Nakatani in the saddle.
Diversy Harbor - Tom Proctor trained filly has seven career starts with two wins, two seconds and a third place finish. She has failed to place in her last two however - last time out was a sixth in the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks which followed a fourth as favorite in the Grade 2 San Clemente Stakes here July 19. She enters on a two race win streak - the 6 1/2 furlong minor Unzip Me Stakes last time out on this track September 27 and an Allowance at this distance at Del Mar August 20.
