Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 3 Tempted Stakes comes our way from Aqueduct Racetrack in South Ozone Park, New York on Wednesday, November 4. Two year old fillies will be featured when they take to Aqueduct's dirt track and race one mile for the winner's share of the $200,000 purse.
A field of six will give it a go in the Tempted Stakes- race 3 on the opening card on Aqueduct's winter meet. Post time is 1:20 PM. Let's take a peek into the past performances of all six combatants for this mid-week Grade 3 stakes - all of which are coming off victories.
Flora Dora - will hit the track for just the third time for trainer Marialice Coffey. She enters off a very good win in the minor Florida Sire May Dear Girl Stakes at Gulfstream Park October 3 which followed an unflattering sixth in her debut. Flora Dora looks to make it two straight wins Wednesday from post 3 with Kendrick Carmouche guiding her.
Banree - Wesley Ward trained filly is the most experienced entry in the field. She has five career starts with two wins and a second place finish. Last time out was one of those wins - an Allowance score at Keeneland October 7. That result followed a sixth in the Grade 1 Spinaway Stakes September 5, a decent second in the Grade 3 Schuylerville Stakes in July, a fifth in the minor Tremont Stakes in June and a maiden score at first asking in April. Banree hopes for her first stakes score when she leaves from gate 6 with Rafael Manuel Hernandez guiding her.
Hi Holiday - Joseph Orseno trained filly looks to remain perfect in her short career - she has two career starts and two wins. Last time out was a good win in the minor Sorority Stakes at Monmouth Park September 6 which followed a maiden score at first asking - on that same track October 22. Hi Holiday looks to keep the roll going Wednesday when she departs from post 5 with Joe Bravo in the irons.

Big World - Anthony Dutrow trained filly finished third in her first two career starts but broke through last time out with a maiden score - at Saratoga September 6. She steps up into stakes company for the first time Wednesday having improved every time out. Jose Ortiz will try to keep that trend going from gate 4.
Disco Rose - Robert Reid trained filly has five career starts with a win, a second and a third place finish - all MSW races. She finally broke maiden last time out in her fifth starts after failing to place in her previous two. Disco Rose takes a huge step up in competition Wednesday from the rail with Marie Remedio aboard.
Welcoming - will race for the fourth time for trainer Christophe Clement after three career starts produces a win and a second place finish. Last time out was a maiden score at Belmont Park October 4 after a second in August and a fifth in her debut. She has been OK so far and could be in the mix in her first step up in competition. Joel Rosario gets the call from gate 2.
