His last two starts at home resulted in two wins - both Stakes races in Britain - the Betfred Mobile Strensall Stakes (Eng-III) August 22 and the other at Pontefract July 26. Before that was a disappointing fourteenth and consecutive third place finishes. Time Test 6-1 - British bred Roger Charlton trained colt has seven career starts with four wins and two second place finishes. He enters having won three of his last four starts at home - all stakes races. He has yet to race in Group or graded stakes company but has certainly been competitive every time out. Ryan Moore has been chosen to ride Time Test in his first North American start from the outside post 12.
Grand Arch 8-1 - finished eleventh in this race last year and went on to an Allowance score on this track in April. He scuffled after that with off-the-board finishes in his next two starts. But Grand Arch has peaked ahead of this weekend - two straight graded stakes scores. Last time out was a win in the Grade 1 Shadwell Turf Mile here October 3 after a win in the Grade 2 Fourstardave Handicap in August. Grand Arch now has seven wins, six seconds and six third place finishes in 23 career starts, has won three of his last five starts overall and arrives in career best form. Karakonite returns to the scene of his biggest win in so-so form and leaves from post 11 with Stephane Pasquier guiding him.

He also had wins in the Grade 1 Just a Game Stakes in June and the Grade 2 Churchill Distaff Turf Mile in May. Tepin has been sensational the last seven months and will try to keep the trend going from post 7 with Julien Leparoux aboard.
Tourist 15-1 - Bill Mott trained colt won three straight races last summer including the minor Sir Cat Stakes at Saratoga in July and finished a good second in his graded stakes debut- the Grade 1 Secretariat at Arlington August 16, 2014. He went on to a thirteenth place finish in the Breeders' Cup Mile and was forced out of action for 10 months. He returned to action September 5 and won the minor More Than Ready Mile by 3 3/4 lengths at Kentucky Downs and most recently finished third in the Grade 1 Shadwell Turf Mile on this very track October 3. Tourist has won four of his last seven races overall and has shown promise in Grade 1 company. He makes just his third start of 2015 from post 6 with Jose Lezcano in the reins hoping for a first graded stakes win.
Obviously 15-1 - multiple Grade 1 winner makes his fourth appearance in this race. The Irish bred gelding was last seen running third in the Grade 1 Woodbine Mile September 13 after 10 months away. Before the layoff was a fifth in last year's Breeders' Cup Mile (he was fifth in 2013 and third in 2012) - a result that followed a fourth in the Grade 2 Del Mar Handicap in August, 2014 and two straight graded stakes scores - the Grade 1 Shoemaker Mile last June and the Grade 3 American Stakes in May - he won both of those races two straight years. He has 23 career starts with 11 wins, four seconds and three third place finishes and will look for his first win in 16 months. Mshawish has six wins, two seconds and three third place finishes in 19 career starts and has placed in six of his last seven starts ahead of this weekend. He looks for his first win since February when he leaves from gate 10 with Lanfranco Dettori in the irons.
Recepta 30-1 - has 11 career starts for trainer James Toner with five wins and three third place finishes. She enters on a nice two race win streak - the Grade 3 Noble Damsel Stakes last time out September 19 and the minor Fasig-Tipton De La Rose Stakes at Saratoga August 8. The wins followed a fourth in the Grade 3 Eatontown Stakes at Monmouth Park in June, an OK third place finish in the Grade 3 Beaugay Stakes at Belmont Park May 9, an Allowance score April 12, a tenth in the Grade 1 Belmont Oaks Invitational last July and consecutive thirds in stakes action last summer. Recepta has been a tad up and down but two straight wins ahead of this race has to give her some serious confidence. John Velazquez has been tabbed to ride as Recepta chases her third straight stakes score from gate 2.
