Autumn Miss Stakes 2015 at Santa Anita Park

Las Vegas, NV - The Grade 3 Autumn Miss Stakes is on tap for Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California this Saturday, October 17. Three year old fillies will take to Santa Anita's turf track and race one mile searching for the winner's portion of the $100,000 purse.

A field of 10 sophomore fillies will take to the track in the Autumn Miss - race 8 on Santa Anita Saturday card. Post time is 4:30PM. Here is a look into the past performances of all 10 entries for this Grade 3 stakes.

2015 Autumn Miss Stakes Race Favorite Entries

Singing Kitty - has won five of 12 career starts for trainer Matthew Chew - three of seven this year. She enters off one of those wins - by 1 1/4 lengths in the minor 6 1/2 furlong Unzip Me Stakes here September 26 which followed a second in the minor Sandy Blue Stakes at Del Mar in August, a seventh in the Grade 2 Honeymoon Stakes in May and a fifth in the Grade 1 Santa Anita April 4. Before that was a two race win streak - the minor China Doll Stakes at this distance at 19-1 odds March 7 and the minor California Cup Oaks at this distance at 7-1 odds in January - both results on this track. Singing Kitty has three wins and a second place finish in her last six starts overall, two wins and a second place finish on turf and three wins in five starts on this track. She looks to place in graded stakes company for the first time Saturday as Rafael Bejarano gets the call from post 9.

Dreamologist - will race for just the third time for trainer Richard Mandella having posted a win and a third place finish in her two career starts. She broke maiden last time out as favorite in gate-to-wire fashion by an impressive 3 ¾ lengths after a third in her debut - both results at Del Mar. Dreamologist steps up in company hoping for a second win in a row - with Mike Smith guiding the up and coming filly from post 3.

Paulina's Love - Richard Baltas trained filly has two wins, two seconds and three third place finishes in 10 career starts and enters off a very disappointing seventh after setting the pace and tiring in the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks August 15. She looked good before that result - a close third place finish in the Grade 2 San Clemente Stakes in her stakes debut at 12-1 odds July 19 followed consecutive wins - an Allowance Optional Claiming score June 5 and a maiden score in April. She has placed in three of her last four starts and will be eager to avenge an uncharacteristic outing last time out. Paulina's Love has two wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in eight starts at this distance. Tyler Baze will be in the saddle as Paulina's Love tries for a first stakes score- from post 7.

Majestic Heat - Richard Mandella trained filly made her stakes debut August 15 and finished fifth in the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks and followed that with a fourth last time out as favorite in an Allowance Optional Claiming also at Del Mar September 5. Before that were two wins and a second place finish in five career starts. She had an Allowance Optional Claiming score August 9 and a second in an Allowance at Del Mar July 26 and has been just OK since. Gary Stevens has been tabbed to ride Majestic Heat Saturday looking for a breakthrough in stakes company.

Belle Hill - has been good in her six race career - four wins and a third place finish. She races in graded stakes company for the first time Saturday having posted three straight minor stakes scores at Emerald Downs - the Washington Oaks August 8, the Kent Handicap July 18 and the Irish Day Handicap in June. Her only off-the-board finish came before that - a fourth in the minor Seattle Handicap May 2. Belle Hill looks more than ready for her step up in competition and will line up in gate 4 with Leslie Mawing aboard.

Princess Charm - Irish bred John Sadler trained filly has nine starts at home with three wins, a second and two third place finishes. She debuted in North America August 14 and finished a disappointing fifth in the minor Sandy Blue Handicap at Del Mar. She did win a stakes in March and posted third place finishes in two Group 3 stakes this past spring before shipping. Princess Charm has placed in just one of her last three starts and will be looking for a strong bounce back Saturday when she leaves from post 5 with Santiago Gonzalez guiding her.

Hundi - Irish bred Charles Hill trained filly has just one win in 11 career starts to go along with four seconds and a third place finish. She makes her North American debut Saturday having failed to place in her last three starts overall. Her one win came in a minor stakes four starts back - at Salisbury in May. Victor Espinoza will be in the saddle Saturday as Hundi looks to snap out of a funk and make a little noise on North American soil.

Miss Boom Boom - Jerry Hollendorfer trained filly enters on the heels of consecutive runner-up finishes - an Allowance Optional Claiming August 29 and the minor Wine Country Stakes at Santa Rosa August 1. She finished seventh in her only graded stakes action to date - the Grade 3 Providencia Stakes here in April. Miss Boom Boom has two wins, four seconds and a third place finish in 10 career starts and will be after a first stakes score Saturday. Martin Garcia has the mount from gate 8.

All Star Bub - Jerry Hollendorfer trained filly races in stakes company for the first time Saturday after 11 career starts yielded two wins, a second and three third place finishes. She enters off consecutive fifths in Allowance Optional Claiming races at Del Mar this past summer after an Allowance Optional Claiming score on this very track in May. All Star Bub hasn't looked great lately but she did win in her last appearance on this track. James Graham will be in the reins hoping to get All Star Bub back on track - from gate 6.

Suva Harbor - has three wins, three seconds and three third place finishes in 13 career starts. She enters off a fourth in the minor British Columbia Oaks at Hastings September 13, a second in the minor Washington Oaks August 8 at Emerald Downs and three straight third place finishes in minor stakes action at Emerald Downs this past spring. Suva Harbor has one graded stakes start - a sixth in the Grade 1 Las Virgines Stakes on this track in January. She looks for her first win since February (eight starts) but has placed in four of her last five starts overall. Fernando Hernandez Perez has been tabbed to ride from the outside gate 10.
