Danish Dynaformer 3/1 - has six career starts for Hall of Fame trainer Roger Attfield with three wins and a third place finish. He enters having won three of his last four starts - the minor Plate Trial Stakes last time out June 14, an Allowance by 2 1/4 lengths in April and a maiden score in February with a close third behind Shaman Ghost sandwiched in there in the Grade 3 Marine Stakes here May 16. Danish Dynaformer has been on the Queen's Plate radar for a while now - he gets to prove his backers right/wrong from post 7 with Patrick Husbands guiding the lukewarm morning line favorite.
Shaman Ghost 7/2 - Brian Lynch trained colt has three wins in five career start - those wins coming in his last three starts overall. Last time out was a terrific win in his stakes debut - the Grade 3 Marine Stakes here May 16 which followed an Allowance score April 9 at Keeneland and a maiden score at Gulfstream in March. Shaman Ghost seems to be peeking at precisely the right time, he seems well suited for the 1 1/4 mile distance and will have Rafael Manuel Hernandez aboard from the rail.
Academic 5/1 - Reade Baker trained filly has five career starts with two wins and a second place finish - her wins have come in her last two starts. Last time out was a win at 66/1 odds in the listed Woodbine Oaks in track record time for 1 1/8 miles here June 14 after breaking maiden May 15 in his fourth career start. Academic arrives in the best form of her career and will have Justin Stein in the reins from gate 4 Saturday looking to be the second straight female winner of Canada's biggest race (Lexie Lou won last year).
Ami's Flatter 6/1 - one of the winterbook favorites for this race has recorded a win, and two seconds and a third place finish in six career starts for trainer Josie Carroll. Last time out was an ugly seventh as 3-5 favorite in the Grade 3 Marine Stakes here May 16 after a respectable third in the Grade 1 Florida Derby and a second in the Grade 2 Tampa Bay Derby March 7. He also had a close fourth in the competitive Sam F. Davis Stakes in January and a good second in his stakes debut - behind Bluegrass Singer in the minor Mucho Macho Man Stakes at Gulfstream Park January 3. He departs from the outside post 14 Saturday with Luis Contreras as one of the most experienced entries in stakes company and for his first stakes score.
Conquest Boogaloo 8/1 - has two wins and tow third place finishes in seven career starts for trainer Mark Casse. Before that was an eighth in the Grade 3 Marine Stakes and a fourth in the minor Queenston Stakes in May. Conquest Boogaloo has shown good form in the past but hasn't been great lately. Alan Garcia gets the call from gate 8.

Sweet Grass Creek 20/1 - has five career starts - all on this track with a win and a second place finish. He broke maiden two starts back May 18 and was second last time out in an Allowance June 6. He makes his stakes debut off a third and a second respectively in a pair of Allowance races here the last two months, a fifth in a similar race in April and a maiden score in November. She has failed to place in her last two starts however - both Allowance races at Churchill Downs.
