He enters on a two race win streak - the minor Easy Goer Stakes with a field best 101 Beyer Speed Figure last time out June 11 and an Allowance Optional Claiming by four lengths May 4 - both on this track, an uncharacteristic ninth in the Grade 2 Tampa Bay Derby in March and a respectable second to Awesome Banner in the Grade 2 Swale Stakes at Gulfstream Park January 30. He arrives in career best form and chases his first graded stakes score from gate 6 Saturday gate 4 Saturday. Irad Ortiz gets the call on the overwhelming even-money favorite.
Laoban 7-2 - will hit the track for the seventh time for trainer Eric Guillot having recorded two seconds and one third place finish so far. He was last seen running sixth in the Preakness Stakes May 21 which followed a fourth in the Grade 1 Blue Grass Stakes April 9, a respectable second in the Grade 3 Gotham Stakes at Aqueduct March 5, a troubled third in the Grade 3 Sham Stakes at Santa Anita January 9 and a second in a MSW at Los Alamitos December 5. He was fifth in his debut November 15. Laoban has been OK in his last five starts but tries for his first career win Saturday with John Velazquez in the irons of the morning line second choice from gate 4.

Swipe 6-1 - has placed in eight of nine career starts for trainer Keith Desormeaux - a win, five seconds and two third place finishes. He enters on the heels of a third in an Allowance here against older horses June 26 which followed a disappointing sixth in the Grade 3 Lexington Stakes April 16 and four straight runner-up finishes (all behind Champion Nyquist) - the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, the Grade 1 FrontRunner Stakes September 26 at Santa Anita, the Grade 1 Del Mar Futurity September 7 at Del Mar and the Grade 2 Best Pal Stakes August 8. Those results followed a win in the minor Summer Juvenile Championship at Los Alamitos in July .Swipe has been competitive virtually every time out and looks for his first win overall in a year when he departs from post 7 with Kent Desormeaux in the reins of the intriguing morning line third choice.
Fish Trappe Road 8-1 - Bret Calhoun trained colt has two wins and three second place finishes in eight career starts. Last time out was a respectable second at 25-1 odds in the Grade 2 Woody Stephens Stakes here June 11 which followed an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Churchill Downs May 7, a seventh in the Grade 3 LeComte Stakes in January and a second in the minor Sleepy Hollow Stakes on this track in October. He has a win and two seconds in three career starts here and enters this race in decent form. He will be after his first stakes score Saturday from the outside gate 8 with Luis Saez guiding him.
Voluntario 8-1 - has placed in six of eight career starts for trainer Rudy Rodriguez - three wins, two seconds and a third place finish. He makes his graded stakes debut Saturday off an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Pimlico June 18. Before that were consecutive seconds including the minor LARC Sir Barton Stakes in May. He steps up having recorded two wins and two seconds in his last four starts - decent form indeed. He will try to keep the good fortune going from post 3 with Jose Lezcano in the saddle.
Unbridled Outlaw 15-1 - Dale Romans trained colt has a win, two seconds and two third place finishes in eight career starts. He finished third in the Grade 3 Iroquois Stakes at Churchill Downs in September but has struggled in graded stakes action since. He was twelfth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile, eleventh in the Grade 1 Arkansas Derby in April and seventh in the Grade 3 Pat Day Mile in May. He has posted two second place finishes in Allowance Optional Claiming races this year including last time out but has been underwhelming for the most part. Unbridled Outlaw looks to make a serious statement and for his first stakes score from post 5 with Jose Ortiz guiding him.
Tale of S'avall 15-1 - has just one win and a second place finish in six career starts for trainer Barclay Tagg. Last time out was a sixth in the Grade 2 Woody Stephens Stakes here June 11 after a second in the minor Gold Fever Stakes on this track in May, a sixth in the Grade 1 Wood Memorial at Aqueduct in April and consecutive fifths in graded stakes action. He hasn't been great so far, particularly against graded stakes foes but hopes for a breakthrough Saturday with Manuel Franco in the reins from gate 2.
The Great Whiteway 30-1 - has placed in nine of 12 career starts for trainer Naipaul Chatterpaul - five wins and four second place finishes. He steps into stakes company for the first time Saturday having finished first or second in his last eight overall. Last time out was a second in a Starter Allowance here June 12 after a Claiming score on this track May 19 a second in a Claiming in March and a three-race win streak - all at Aqueduct. The Great Whiteway takes an enormous step up in competition Saturday but does so in good form. Angel Arroyo has the mount from the rail.
