She enters having not finished worse than second in her last 13 starts with 11 - yes 11 wins over that span. She arrives on the heels of a terrific eight race win streak - the G1 Woodbine Mile against the boys last time out September 17, the Group 1 Queen Ann Stakes against the boys at Ascot June 15, the G2 Churchill Distaff Turf Mile May 7, the G1 Jenny Wiley Stakes in April, the G2 Hillsborough Stakes at Tampa Bay March 12, the G3 Endeavour Stakes by 3 1/2 lengths at Tampa Bay February 13, the Breeders' Cup Mile against the boys and by an impressive seven lengths and in last year's First Lady Stakes October 3. Before that were consecutive seconds - the G2 Ballston Spa Stakes August 29 and the G1 Diana Stakes in July. She also had wins in the G1 Just a Game Stakes last June and the G2 Churchill Distaff Turf Mile in May, 2015. Tepin has been off-the-charts the last 18 months and will try to keep the insane roll going with regular rider Julien Leparoux guiding the obvious favorite from gate 2.

Celestine 4-1 - Bill Mott trained filly has six wins two seconds and a third place finish in 12 career starts. She had a nice four race win streak last summer - the minor Wild Applause Stakes June 14 after wins in the minor Wait a While Stakes in May (both results at Belmont Park) and the minor Sanibel Island Stakes last March at Gulfstream. She enters on another two race win streak - the G1 Just a Game Stakes last time out June 11 at Belmont Park and in wire-to-wire fashion in the G2 Honey Fox Stakes at Gulfstream April 2. Before that was a third in the minor Sand Springs Stakes February 27, a second in the minor Tropical Park Oaks December 19 and an uncharacteristic tenth in the G2 Mrs. Revere Stakes in November. Celestine has placed in nine of her last 10 starts, has posted a number of bullet works ahead of this weekend and hopes for a third straight graded stakes score. Junior Alvarado rides the morning line second choice from gate 8.
