Her Emmynency - has four wins and two second place finishes in eight career starts for trainer Kristin Mulhall and enters off a somewhat disappointing fourth as favorite in the Grade 2 Buena Vista Stakes here February 20. Before that was a good win in the Grade 1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup at Keeneland October 10, a decent second in the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks August 15 and a career worst effort - a sixth place finish in the Grade 2 San Clemente Handicap July 19. She also finished second in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante in August, 2014 and had two good wins early in her career including the Surfer Girl at Santa Anita. Her Emmynency has been a tad up and down in her career but has shown good form in the past. Joe Talamo gets the call on the likely favorite hoping to bounce back from an ordinary effort last time out - from the rail.
Nancy From Nairobi - John Sadler trained British bred mare has four wins and six second place finishes in 21 career starts. She started her career in Europe and was OK before debuting in North America with a second place finish in an Allowance Optional Claiming here December 30. She enters on a two race win streak - both Allowance Optional Claiming races on this track (the last coming March 4) after a seventh in her only stakes action to date - the minor Astra Stakes here January 17. Nancy From Nairobi looks for her first stakes win and third straight overall in career best form. She has a win and a second place finish at this distance on this track and will have Abel Lezcano in the saddle in her step up in competition from gate 2.

Glory - Jerry Hollendorfer trained filly has three wins, three seconds and two third place finishes in 11 career starts. She enters off a second behind Nancy From Nairobi in an Allowance Optional Claiming here March 4, a disappointing seventh in the Grade 3 Megahertz Stakes here January 18 and a respectable third as favorite in the Grade 3 Robert J. Frankel Stakes on this track December 27. Before that was a two race win streak - both Allowance Optional Claiming races in impressive fashion. Glory has been OK so far in her career but looks for her first stakes win Saturday. Mike Smith has the mount from post 5.
Nashoba's Gold - the only other graded stakes winner in the field was at her best in 2014 when she won the Grade 3 Providencia Stakes and the Grade 2 Honeymoon Stakes on this track. She has only five starts since for trainer Carla Gaines and she hasn't placed in any. Last time out was a fifth right behind Her Emmynency in the Grade 2 Buena Vista Stakes on this track February 20 which followed another fifth in the minor Kathryn Crosby Stakes at Del Mar November 7, a sixth in last year's Buena Vista Stakes, a ninth in the minor Megahertz Stakes in January, 2015 and a fifth in the 2014 American Oaks. Nashoba's Gold hasn't been seen much the last 22 months but hasn't looked great in her limited action. Jockey Rafael Bejarano hopes to change her fortunes around Saturday from post 3.
Tuttipaesi - Irish bred Bill Mott trained mare won three of five starts at home before shipping. She debuted in North America in March, 2013 and finished third in the Grade 3 Herecomesthebride Stakes and followed that with a second in the Grade 1 Ashland Stakes a month later. She was off for 20 months before returning with a sixth in an Allowance in November, 2014. She enters off a respectable third in the Grade 3 Marshua's River Stakes at Gulfstream January 9 after a two race win streak - the minor South Beach Stakes December 12 and the minor Suffolk Downs Distaff Turf in October. Those wins followed a disappointing ninth in the Grade 3 Noble Damsel Stakes at Belmont Park September 19 and an OK a second in the minor Fasig-Tipton De La Rose Stakes at Saratoga August 8. Tuttipaesi has placed in four of her last five starts (all stakes) and looks to get back in the win column from gate 6 Saturday. Jose Lezcano rides.
Fresh Feline - John Sherreffs trained mare will made her stakes debut December 27 and finished seventh in the Grade 3 Robert J. Frankel Stakes here and followed that with a fourth in the minor Astra Stakes last time out January 7 on this track. Before those results she posted two wins, five seconds and three third place finishes in 12 previous career starts. She placed in six straight races at the end of last year (all Allowance Optional Claiming) - a win, four seconds and a third place finish - the win coming in April on this track. Fresh Feline looks for her first win in nearly a year and hopes to hit the board for the first time in three starts from gate 4 with Alex Solis aboard.
