Lord Nelson - Bob Baffert trained colt has six wins, a second and a third place finish in 12 career starts including wins in the G1 Bing Crosby Stakes last time out at Del Mar July 31 (a race that broke a stakes record for six furlongs), the G1 Triple Bend Stakes at Santa Anita two starts back June 25, an Allowance Optional Claiming with a career best 99 Beyer Speed Figure June 3 of this year, the G2 San Vicente Stakes over Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner Texas Red February 1, 2015, the minor Speakeasy Stakes by an impressive 6 3/4 lengths October 13, 2014. He's also posted a third behind the terrific Run Happy in the G1 Malibu Stakes December 26, a fourth in the G3 Pat Day Mile at Churchill Downs last May and a second in the G3 Bay Shore Stakes in April. Lord Nelson has looked great lately and will try to build on a nice three race win streak from gate 4 Saturday. Flavien Prat has the mount.
Jazzy Times - lightly raced Bob Baffert trained colt has two wins, a second and a third place finish in his four career starts. He makes his stakes debut Saturday off an Allowance Optional Claiming score by an impressive 6 1/2 lengths at Del Mar July 31, a second and a third respectively in a pair of similar races early in the summer and a maiden score at first asking. Jazzy Tomes has been in every race so far and hopes his success against lesser competition translates Saturday. Rafael Bejarano has been tabbed to ride.

Cautious Giant - Kristin Mulhall trained gelding has four wins and six third place finishes in 21 career starts. He has been OK lately - a seventh last time out in the G1 Triple Bend Stakes here June 25 followed a third in the G2 Kona Gold Stakes on this track May 21 and consecutive fourths - the G3 Count Fleet Sprint Handicap at Oaklawn Park April 10 and the G2 San Carlos Stakes on this track in March. He also posted a third in the G2 Palos Verdes Stakes here February 7 and a two race win streak this past winter - both Allowance Optional Claiming scores in this track with the last coming January 1. Cautious Giant will be chasing his first stakes score Saturday and enters in so-so form from post 3. Tyler Baze rides.
Anytime Anyplace - Patrick Gallagher trained colt has three wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in 11 career starts. He makes his graded stakes debut Saturday off a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Del Mar August 10, an Allowance Optional Claiming score on this track June 30 and off-the-board finishes in his previous two starts including the minor Oceanside Stakes at Del Mar in July, 2015. Anytime Anyplace steps up in so-so form and will have Victor Espinoza aboard from gate 2.
All Run - Richard Baltas trained gelding has four wins, three seconds and two third place finishes in 15 career starts. He has failed to place in two starts ahead of this weekend (his only stakes action). Last time out was a fifth in the minor Pirate's Bounty Stakes at Del Mar September 5 which followed a fourth in the G3 Midnight Lute Stakes on this track back in January. He did have a three race win streak to end his 2015 campaign - all Allowance races. All Run was effective against lesser company but hasn't shown up yet in stakes action. Jockey Martin Garcia will try to change all of that from the rail Saturday.
