Last time out was a third in the G3 Rampart Stakes here December 7 which followed another third in the G1 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes at Keeneland October 9, a win in the minor Lady Jacqueline Stakes at Thistletown August 27 and a career-best effort - a win in over Eskenformoney the G3 Molly Pitcher Stakes at Monmouth Park July 31. She now has four wins, two seconds and two thirds in her last eight starts overall - competitive virtually every time out and will look to keep the roll going from the rail Saturday. John Velazquez is scheduled to ride.
Curlin's Approval - has three wins and a second place finish in her six career starts for trainer Martin Wolfson - her first four races came on this track. She made her graded stakes debut two starts back and finished an OK fourth in the G2 Raven Run Stakes at Keeneland October 22 and followed that with a respectable second last time out in the G3 Rampart Stakes on this track December 17. Before that was a good two race win streak - the minor Added Elegance Stakes August 28 and an Allowance Optional Claiming July 22. She also had a fifth in the minor Azalea Stakes July 2 and a maiden score at first asking in June. Curlin's Approval has been decent and hopes for her first stakes score Saturday. Bodacious Babe - Jane Cibelli trained filly has placed in seven of 10 career starts - three wins, two seconds and two third place finishes. She makes her graded stakes debut Saturday off a decisive win in the minor Margate Stakes December 26 on this track after an eighth in the minor Cellars Shiraz Stakes at Gulfstream Park West November 5 and consecutive thirds - one coming in the minor Miss Woodford Stakes at Monmouth Park in July. Bodacious Babe has been OK in her career so far and will be after a second straight stakes win from post 3. Paco Lopez will be in the saddle Saturday from post 7.
You Bought Her - was very good at the beginning of 2015 - two wins and two seconds in her first four starts of that year including a win in the minor Minaret Stakes at Tampa Bay in February and a second in the G2 Inside Information Stakes. She has been OK since - three straight runner-up finishes ahead of this weekend including the listed Sunshine Millions Distaff last week, the G3 Sugar Swirl Stakes (both on this track) and in the minor Millions Distaff Preview Stakes at Gulfstream Park West November 12. Before that was an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Keeneland October 7 and a disappointing eighth in the G3 Groupie Doll Stakes at Ellis Park in August. She also had a sixth in the minor Brandywine Stakes at Indiana Grand July 19, a third in the G3 Chicago Handicap June 25, a sixth in the G1 Humana Distaff May 7 and a second at Tampa Bay in April. You Bought Her now has nine wins, 14 seconds and seven third place finishes in 48 career starts and will be after her first graded stakes score in her eleventh try Saturday. Linda Linda - Chilean bred Angel Quiroz trained mare has placed in eight of nine career starts - four wins, two seconds and a third place finish in seven starts at home including a win in the Group 1 Alberto Solari Magnasco in October. She was off for 10 months before making her North American and finishing an OK third in the minor Shine Again Stakes at Saratoga August 3. She followed that with a disappointing tenth in the G1 Ballerina Stakes also at Saratoga August 27. Linda Linda had been a factor in every race before last time out and will be searching for a strong bounce back Saturday. Jose Lezcano gets the call.
Distinta - Victor Barboza trained mare has 19 career starts with three wins, six seconds and two third place finishes. She has placed in three straight races ahead of this weekend - an Allowance optional Claiming score last time out on this track January 11 followed a third and a second respectively in a pair of Allowance Optional Claiming races on this track to end 2016. She has three prior graded stakes starts - a seventh in the 2015 G3 Azalea Stakes, a seventh in the 2015 G2 Davona Dale Stakes and a sixth in the G2 Forward Gal Stakes a month prior to that. Distinta arrives in OK form and will be after her first stakes score from gate 2. Edgard Zayas rides.
Improv - George Arnold trained mare has two wins, two seconds and two third place finishes in 10 career starts. She enters on the heels of consecutive thirds in Allowance Optional Claiming races with the last coming at Churchill Downs November 25. Before that was a second in a similar race in September at Churchill Downs an eleventh in the G3 Groupie Doll Stakes at Ellis Park in August - her only stakes action to date. Improv has placed in four of her last five starts overall and will be after a first stakes win from gate 6 Saturday. Javier Castellano will be in the reins.
Sugar Cone - has just one win and one runner-up finish in her seven career starts for trainer George Arnold. She enters having failed to place in her last three starts - a fourth last time out in the minor Margate Stakes here December 26 followed a ninth in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Churchill Downs May 6 and a fifth in an Allowance in April. She finished second in the 2016 Margate Stakes and was fourth in her only graded stakes action to date - the 2015 G2 Golden Rod Stakes at Churchill Downs. Sugar Cone hasn't been all that great but will be after a major breakthrough from gate 4 Saturday. Joe Bravo has the mount.
