2017 Transylvania Stakes Entries at Keeneland Racecourse

Oscar Performance - impressive Brian Lynch trained Ringling finished sixth in his debut and has since reeled off three impressive wins - a maiden score by an eye opening 10 1/4 lengths at Saratoga August 20, a terrific six length victory in the G3 Pilgrim Stakes at Belmont Park October 1 and a career-defining win last time out by 1 1/4 lengths in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf back in November. Oscar Performance has looked superb in his last three starts, has been training well including a bullet five furlong work March 25, and is expected to be the one to catch again Friday with Jose Ortiz aboard from gate 4.

Ticonderoga - has two wins and two second place finishes in five career starts for trainer Chad Brown. Last time out was a very nice win in the G3 Pal Beach Stakes at Gulfstream Park March 4 which followed a respectable fourth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf, a decent second in his stakes debut - the G3 Dixiana Bourbon Stakes at Keeneland October 9, a maiden score at Belmont Park September 10 and a second in his debut August 13. Ticonderoga chases his second straight graded stakes win and looks to flip the switch on Oscar Performance with Joel Rosario in the irons from post 5.
