Oscar Performance - impressive Brian Lynch trained Ringling finished sixth in his debut and has since reeled off three impressive wins - a maiden score by an eye opening 10 1/4 lengths at Saratoga August 20, a terrific six length victory in the G3 Pilgrim Stakes at Belmont Park October 1 and a career-defining win last time out by 1 1/4 lengths in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf back in November. Oscar Performance has looked superb in his last three starts, has been training well including a bullet five furlong work March 25, and is expected to be the one to catch again Friday with Jose Ortiz aboard from gate 4.
Ticonderoga - has two wins and two second place finishes in five career starts for trainer Chad Brown. Last time out was a very nice win in the G3 Pal Beach Stakes at Gulfstream Park March 4 which followed a respectable fourth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf, a decent second in his stakes debut - the G3 Dixiana Bourbon Stakes at Keeneland October 9, a maiden score at Belmont Park September 10 and a second in his debut August 13. Ticonderoga chases his second straight graded stakes win and looks to flip the switch on Oscar Performance with Joel Rosario in the irons from post 5.

Big Score - has two wins and a second place finish in his four career starts for Tim Yakteen. He made his graded stakes debut back on November 4 and finished an OK fifth in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Turf. Before that was a good win in the minor Zuma Beach Stakes here October 10, a second in the minor Del Mar Juvenile Turf Stakes September 3 and a win at first asking - at Del Mar in July. Big Score has been decent so far in his career and hopes for a first graded stakes score in his first start in 4 1/2 months when he leaves from post with Javier Castellano in the reins from post 3.
Sonic Boom - has six career starts for trainer Ian Wiles with two wins, a second and a third place finish. Last time out was a career-best effort - a win in the minor Columbia Stakes at Tampa Bay March 11. Before that was a fourth in the minor Kitten's Joy Stakes at Gulfstream Park February 4, a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Churchill Downs in November and an OK second in the minor Zuma Beach Stakes at Santa Anita in October. Sonic Boom has placed in five of his last six starts overall and off a first stakes win could be a factor Friday. Julien Leparoux gets the call from gate 6.Profiteer - Shug McGaughey trained colt has placed in three of his four career starts - two wins and a second place finish. He made his stakes debut last time out and finished an OK second behind Sonic Boom in the minor Columbia Stakes at Tampa Bay March 11 which followed two straight wins including an Allowance optional Claiming at Tampa Bay January 4 and a maiden score at Belmont Park in October. Profiteer steps into graded stakes company for the first time in pretty good form. John Velazquez has been tabbed to ride from the rail.
Cowboy Culture - Brad Cox trained colt has four career starts with three wins. He started his career with three straight wins - the best of which coming in the minor Keith Gee Memorial Overnight Stakes at Fair Grounds February 4. He stepped into graded stakes company last time out and fell back to earth with a seventh in the G3 Palm Beach Stakes at Gulfstream Park March 4. Cowboy Culture looked terrific to start his career but will be after a bounce back Friday. Florent Geroux has the mount from gate 8.
Holiday Stone - has placed in four of five career starts for trainer George Weaver - two wins and two third place finishes. He makes his graded stakes debut Friday off a third in the minor Columbia Stakes at Tampa Bay March 11, a sixth in the minor Kitten's Joy Stakes at Gulfstream Park February 4 and two straight wins - the best of which was an Allowance Optional Claiming at Gulfstream in December. Holiday Stone has been OK so far in his career and will be after a first stakes score Friday from the outside post 9. Luis Saez will be in the saddle.
Makarios - has a win and a second place finish in his four career starts for trainer Nick Zito - all MSW races. He finally broke maiden last time out at Gulfstream Park February 26 after a sixth, a second and a seventh respectively in a trio of races to start his career. Makarios hasn't been all that impressive before last time out and steps into stakes company for the first time off a career best effort. He tries to make a statement Friday from gate 2 with Nik Juarez scheduled to ride.
Dahog - Wayne Rice trained gelding has just one win and one third place finish in seven career starts. He makes his graded stakes debut Friday off a disappointing stakes debut - a seventh in the minor Fitz Dixon, Jr. Memorial Juvenile Stakes at Presque Isle Downs October 6 which followed a third, an eighth and a seventh respectively in MSW races at Presque Isle Downs last summer. Dahog hasn't been great at all in his career but will be after a career-defining win from post 7 Friday. Arienne Cox will be in the irons.
