She made her North American debut June 1 and finished second in an Allowance at Belmont Park and followed that with a fourth last time out in the G3 Dr. James Penny Memorial Stakes at Parx July 4. At home, she had a fifth in the Group 3 Godolphin Stud & Stable Staff Awards Darley Stakes in October, a twelfth in a Group 3 race in France last August, a third in a Group 3 race last July 29 and a minor stakes score overseas July 2, 2016. Light Up Our World has been OK in her career so far but has yet to record a graded/Group score. Jockey Daniel Centeno will try to change all of that on the tepid morning line favorite from gate 2 Saturday.
Graham Motion trained filly has two wins, two seconds and four third-place finishes in 11 career starts - her best result by far was a win in the G3 Sweetest Chant Stakes in January, 2016. Last time out was a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Saratoga July 22 which followed 10 months away and two straight thirds in stakes action - the G3 Commonwealth Oaks at Laurel Park last September and in the listed Riskaverse Stakes a year ago at Saratoga. Before that was a fourth in the 2016 G1 Belmont Oaks Invitational last July. Has seven wins, a second and a third-place finish in 14 career starts for trainer Michael Maker. She makes her graded stakes debut Saturday off an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Laurel Park July 15, a fourth in the minor Lady Canterbury Stakes June 18, a second in the minor Pago Hop Stakes at Fair Grounds in December and a third in the minor Winter Memories Stakes at Aqueduct in November. She posted three straight wins before that including the minor Oklahoma Classics Distaff Turf at Remington park in October and the minor Bob Barry Memorial Stakes on tat track in September. Gianna's Dream has won four of her last seven starts overall and hopes her success translates in what represents a major step up in competition. Antonio Gallardo will bin in the saddle of the intriguing third choice from post 3.
British bred Brendan Walsh trained filly has three wins and a second-place finish in 10 career starts. She wasn't all that great at home, failing to place in her last four starts there but has been OK in three North American starts. Last time out was a nice win in the listed Indiana General Assembly Distaff July 15 which followed a fourth in an Allowance Optional Claiming June 28 and an Allowance score May 26 - the latter two starts at Churchill Downs. Beauly steps up in career best form and hopes for a second straight stakes score - from gate 6 with James Graham in the reins.
Lynn Ashby trained filly has placed in eight of 10 career starts - two wins, four seconds and two third place finishes. She stepped into stakes company for the first time three starts back and finished fourth in the G3 Eatontown Stakes at Monmouth Park June 3 and followed that with another fourth in the G3 Robert G. Dick Memorial Stakes at Delaware Park July 8 and a second last time out in an Allowance on that track July 29. She also posted a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Pimlico May 19 and a win, a second and a third-place finish respectively in a trio of Allowance races this past spring. Tricky Escape will attempt to hit the board for the first time in stakes company in her third try when she leaves from gate 4 Saturday with Christopher DeCarlo in the irons.
Has just three wins in 13 career starts for trainer Michael Matz to go along with a second and two third-place finishes. She steps into graded stakes company for the first time off an Allowance score at Delaware Park June 26, a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Pimlico May 19 and a fourth, a seventh and a third respectively in a trio of Allowance Optional Claiming races. Arraign has been trending upward against lesser company lately and hopes it translates in her step up Saturday. Edwin Gonzalez is scheduled to ride from post 5.
Tomas Albertraini trained filly has just two wins and a second-place finish in 10 career starts. She posted an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Gulfstream Park in January and hasn't been all that great since. Last time out was a ninth in the listed Trillium Stakes at Woodbine June 18 which followed consecutive fourths - the minor Powder Break Stakes April 29 and the minor Sand Springs Stakes March 4 - both at Gulfstream Park. Always Thinking looks to snap a skid and for her first stakes score in her fourth try from the rail. Albin Jimenez gets the call.
Main Track Only Entry - Kelly Breen trained mare has 19 career starts with four wins, three seconds and five third-place finishes. Last time out was a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Delaware Park July 27 after a fifth in the listed Lady's Secret Stakes here July 2, a sixth in the minor Maryland Racing Media Stakes February 18 and a fifth in the minor Thirty Eight Go Go Stakes December 31 at Laurel Parl. Her only graded stakes start came before that and resulted in a fifth in the G3 Go for Wand Handicap at Aqueduct December 3. Cayman Croc hasn't posted a win since June, 2016 and if she does race will try to snap that skid from post 7.
Main Track Only Entry - Francis Abbott trained mare has four wins, four seconds and a third-place finish in 20 career starts. She has failed to place in her last six starts - a fourth in an Allowance Optional Claiming last time out at Delaware Park July 27 followed a seventh in a similar race at Aqueduct February 16, a fourth in the minor What A Summer Stakes at Laurel Park in January and a sixth in her only graded stakes start - the G3 Go for Wand Handicap at Aqueduct in December. If she does line up, Camille Claudel will chase a first stakes win and first victory overall since November.
