A field of seven will line up in the Adoration Stakes - race 5 on Santa Anita's Sunday card. Post time is 3:00 PM. Here is a peek into the past performances of all seven entries for this G3 stakes.
Vale Dori - Bob Baffert trained Argentinean bred filly has eight wins, three seconds and a third place finish in 13 starts all around the world including a win in a Group 1 race at home in May, 2015, a second in the UAE Oaks and an OK fourth, 1 1/2 lengths back in the Group 2 UAE Derby at Meydan in March of 2016. She has seven North American starts (six wins) and enters on an impressive five race win streak - all as favorite and all in dominant fashion - the G1 Santa Margarita Stakes by 1 1/2 lengths over Eclipse Award winning Finest City here March 18, the G2 Santa Maria Stakes by 1 3/4 lengths on this track February 11, the G2 La Canada Stakes in gate-to-wire fashion by 2 1/2 lengths here January 14 and by three lengths in the G2 Bayakoa Handicap at Del Mar December 3. She's also posted an impressive 10 1/4 length win in an Allowance Optional Claiming at Santa Anita October 28, a respectable third behind champions Stellar Wind and Beholder in the G1 Zenyatta Stakes on this track October 1 and had a 3 1/2 length win in the minor Tranquility Lake Stakes at Del Mar August 31. Vale Dori has been a serious factor in every race so far in her career and tries for a sixth straight win (fifth straight graded stakes) Saturday. Rafael Bejarano has been tabbed to ride the obvious favorite from gate 6.
Autumn Flower - has just three wins and five third place finishes in 16 career starts for trainer Dan Hendricks. She made her stakes debut December 13 and finished sixth in the G2 Bayakoa Handicap at Del Mar December 3 and followed that with an OK third behind Vale Dori and Show Stealer in the G2 La Canada Stakes on this track January 14, another third- behind Vale Dori and Show Stealer again in the G2 Santa Maria Stakes here February 11 and yet another third behind Vale Dori last time out - 11 lengths back in the G1 Santa Margarita Stakes here March 18. Last year she had a two race win streak - both Allowance Optional Claiming races at Santa Anita with the last coming October 16. Autumn Flower has certainly been up and down in her career so far, will try to snap a string of three straight thirds, will be out to flip the script on Vale Dori and will be out for a first stakes win Saturday with Martin Pedroza in the irons from post 5.

Bellamentary - has placed in six of eight career starts for trainer Phil D'Amato - three wins and three runner-up finishes. She was last seen back on October 22 finishing tenth in the G2 Lexus Raven Run Stakes at Keeneland after two of her runner-up finishes - the G3 Torrey Pines Stakes at Del Mar August 28 and behind the sensational Songbird the G2 Summertime Oaks at Santa Anita June 10. Before that was a good win in the minor Angels Flight Stakes at Santa Anita May 15 and a fifth in the G1 Santa Anita Oaks last April. Bellamentary will chase her first graded stakes score and will be looking for a strong bounceback from post 3 Sunday with Stewart Elliot in the saddle.
Lady Tapit - Peter Eurton trained mare has a win and a second place finish in seven eight starts. She enters off consecutive fourths - the G1 Santa Margarita Stakes last time out on this track March 18 and the G2 Santa Maria Stakes here February 11. Before that was a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming here January 13, a seventh in an Allowance Optional Claiming on this track January 12 and a fifth in a similar race here in May. She had a tenth in her only other stakes action to date - the G3 Fantasy Stakes at Oaklawn Park in April, 2015 and her only win to date - a MSW in December, 2014. Lady Tapit has been largely underwhelming so far and looks for a breakthrough performance Saturday with Mario Gutierrez guiding her from the outside post 7.
Skye Diamonds - up-and-coming William Spawr trained filly has seven wins and three seconds in her 13 career starts and steps into graded stakes company for the first time Saturday. Last time out was her first stakes score - the minor Dream of Summer Stakes on this track March 26 which followed two straight Allowance Optional Claiming scores on this track to start her 2017 campaign. She posted two more wins and a runner-up finish in her three starts before that. Skye Diamonds takes a huge step up in competition but does so in very good form and looks for a major breakthrough. Tiago Josue Pereira has been tabbed to ride from the rail.
Faithfully - Bob Baffert trained filly has placed in six of seven career starts - two wins and four runner-up finishes - all coming since a fourth in her debut. She steps into stakes company for the first time Sunday off a second in an Allowance Optional Claiming here April 14, 10 months away, an Allowance score at Churchill Downs last June and a maiden score in this very track last March. Faithfully has been good against lesser company and hopes it translates in her huge step up in competition Sunday. Martin Garcia will be in the reins from gate 4.
Sensitively - Phil D'Amato trained mare has four wins and a runner-up finish in 10 career starts. She made her graded stakes debut August 17 and finished sixth in the G3 Rancho Bernardo Stakes at Del Mar and has just one start since - that was a fourth in the G3 Las Flores Stakes on this track March 5. Those results followed an OK second in the minor Desert Stormer II Stakes here last June 6 and three straight Allowance Optional Claiming scores on this track last spring. Sensitively has been a tad up and down and will chase her first stakes score in her first action in nearly nine months. Tyler Baze gets the call from gate 2.
