Avenge

Richard Mandella trained mare has 15 career starts with six wins and three third place finishes. She arrives off her worst effort in a while - a sixth as favorite in the G2 Yellow Ribbon Handicap at Del Mar August 5 after a third behind the superb Lady Eli and Goodyearforroses in the G1 Gamely Stakes at Santa Anita May 27, another quality third behind Lady Eli back on November 5 in the Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf, a win in gate-to-wire fashion in the G1 Rodeo Drive Stakes at Santa Anita October 1, another win in the G2 John C. Mabee Stakes at Del Mar September 4 and an Allowance Optional Claiming score at Del Mar last July. She failed to place in her prior three starts. Decked Out

Keith Desormeaux trained filly has three wins, two seconds and three third place finishes in 17 career starts. She enters off a fifth in the G2 John C Mabee Stakes at Del Mar September 2 which followed nine months away and a very good win in the G1 American Oaks on this track December 31. Before that was an Allowance Optional Claiming score January 29 and a maiden score overseas in August. Beau Recall has been in the mix the last year and shoots for a first stakes score in her sixth try. Rafael Bejarano is scheduled to ride from post 7.

Frenzified

British bred James Cassidy trained mare has five wins, a second and five third-place finishes in 20 career starts. She stepped into graded stakes company for the first time August 5 and finished an OK third in the G2 Yellow Ribbon Handicap at Del Mar and followed that with a ninth in the G2 John C. Mabee Stakes on that track September 2. Before those results were a third in an Allowance Optional Claiming at here June 11, a seventh in a similar race on that track May 7 and an OK third in the minor Kathryn Crosby Stakes on this track in November.
