Last time out was an OK stakes debut - a runner-up finish in the minor Skidmore Stakes August 18. Before that was a maiden score at first asking July 29. Barbara Minshall trained gelding has one career starts and it was a good one - a maiden score on this track August 6. He looked good in that race and hopes to be again in his major step up in competition Sunday. Luis Contreras has been tabbed to ride from gate 4.
Mark Casse trained colt has three career starts with just one win to show for it - all of his results have come on this track. Last time out was a disappointing last of six in the minor Clarendon Stakes August 5 which followed a maiden score July 14 and a fourth in his debut June 18. Differential has been a tad tough to figure out but hopes to make a name for himself Sunday. Gary Boulanger will be in the saddle from gate 2.
Nicholas Nosowenko trained gelding has a pair of runner-up finishes in his three career starts - all on this track. He steps into stakes company for the first time Sunday off a fourth in a MSW August 20 which followed consecutive seconds (one of which was behind Differential) in MSW races to start his career. Follow My Lead steps up looking for his first win and could be in over his head from post 3.
