Queen Bee to You ran the best race of her career in winning the Grade III Bayakoa Stakes by 3 ½ lengths over a track listed as "good" at Los Alamitos on Dec. 8 in what was her first graded stakes victory.

A stirring 4 ½ length winner going seven furlongs versus statebreds in the Betty Grable Stakes at Del Mar Nov. 17, this 6-year-California-bred mare by Old Topper, out of Silk Queen by Touch Gold stretched out to 1 1/16 miles over a wet track listed as "good" at Los Alamitos Dec. 8 and rallied for an emphatic 3 ½ length win under Ruben Fuentes, who rides back on Saturday.
Conditioned by a young trainer on the ascendency here in Southern California, Queen Bee to You is a "now" horse that should be extremely tough in her 33rd career start. With earnings of $538,770, she has an overall mark of 32-7-11-5.

A two-time Grade I winner, this 5-year-old California-bred daughter of Smiling Tiger, out of Perfect Feat, by Pleasantly Perfect, led gate to wire, winning the Grade III Go For Wand by 2 ¼ lengths on Dec. 7 and will likely stalk the early pace in the La Canada when ridden for the first time by Joel Rosario.
A stakes winner at four different tracks dating back to her 2-year-old year, Spiced Perfection will be trying a mile and one sixteenth for only the second time in her career as she finished a close second versus statebreds in the Melair Stakes 12 races back here on June 3, 2018. She is 20-9-5-2 overall with earnings of $1,214,405.
