Belle Gallantey Wins Delaware Handicap at Delaware Park
Las Vegas, NV - The $750,000 Grade 1 Delaware Handicap was contested at Delaware Park on Saturday, July 12 - a race that was supposed to belong to four-time Grade 1 winner Princess of Sylmar. But it was 6-1 shot Belle Gallantey that came up with the upset win in the field of six - by 2 3/4 lengths in the 1 1/4 mile test. Overwhelming 1-5 favorite Princess of Sylmar finished second with Flashy American getting third. Gamay Noir, Molly Morgan, and Bryan's Jewel completed the order of finish.
