Las Vegas, NV -- The 51st running of the Grade 3 Wilshire Handicap comes our way this Sunday, April 29th from Betfair Hollywood Park. The race is open to fillies and mare three years old and upward willing to go 1 mile on Hollywood Park's turf course.
$100,000 is up for grabs for the eight entries that will be part of race 8 on Hollywood Park's Sunday schedule. Post time is 4:40 PM. Let's take a look at the eight starters, multiple stakes winners among them, and the recent performances that brought them to the Wilshire.
Nereid - has placed in all six of her career starts with three wins including an impressive score at the Grade 1 American Oaks Stakes on this track in July. Since that time she has raced to two third place finishes - the Grade 1 Del Mar Oaks in August and the Grade 1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes in October at Keeneland. Nereid has won two straight stakes races on this track and has three wins overall at Hollywood Park.

Go Forth North hasn't tasted victory since the Grade 3 Harold Ramser Sr. Handicap on this track in October 2010 and she has placed in four of five starts at Hollywood Park.
