Dank - British bred filly has 11 career starts with six wins, two seconds and a third place finish and enters this weekend having won three of her last four starts. Last time out was a 4 1/4 length win in her North American debut - the Grade 1 Beverly D. Stakes August 17. She also won a group II event in Ireland and multiple group III races in England. She is the 5-2 morning line favorite and departs from the rail with Ryan Moore aboard.
Tiz Flirtatious - Tiz Flirtatious has been terrific in her career with eight wins, three seconds and a third place finish in 12 career starts. She is coming off a great victory in the Grade 1 Rodeo Drive Stakes at this distance on this track September 28 after a win in the Grade 2 John C. Mabee Stakes August 11 and a second in the Grade 1 Gamely Stakes behind multiple Grade 1 winner Marketing Mix after leading at Hollywood Park May 27. Before that second was a win in the Grade 2 Santa Ana Stakes over Lady of Shamrock, a win in the minor Valentine Dancer Stakes January 23 and a pair of seconds in graded stakes races - the Grade 3 Robert J. Frankel in December and the Grade 1 Matriarch Stakes in November. Tiz Flirtatious has been at or near the top in every career start, has never been worse than second in seven starts on grass and leaves at 7-2 odds from post 3 with regular rider Julien Leparoux aboard.
Marketing Mix - defending runner up in this race has won five of her last nine starts overall and is coming off an OK second to Tiz Flirtatious in the Grade 1 Rodeo Drive here September 28 after her worst performance since May 2012 - a fourth as even money favorite in the Grade 1 Beverly D Stakes after a win in the Grade 3 Sunset Handicap and a win over Tiz Flirtatious and Lady of Shamrock in the Grade 1 Gamely Stakes May 27. She has been worse than second just twice in her last 15 starts and will be looking to avenge her defeat to Tiz Flirtatious last time out. She is the co-second choice at 7-2 odds and will have the legendary Gary Sevens aboard from post 6.
Romantica - has four starts this year with two wins and a third place finish. She is coming off a seventh in the Gr 1 Qatar Prix Vermeille at Longchamp September 15 after a win in the Gr 1 Darley Prix Jean Romanet at Deauville August 18 and a second in a Gr 1 at Saint Cloud in May. She has been very competitive this year and is 6-1 on the morning line. Romantica departs from post 2 with Maxime H. Gyuon aboard.
Laughing - Laughing has been terrific in 2013 defeating the likes of Stephanie's Kitten, Dayatthespa, Ruthenia, Pianist and Dream Peace - four starts and four wins. Last time out was in Grade 1 Flower Bowl at Belmont Park September 28 after the Grade 2 Ballston Spa in August, the Grade 1 Diana Stakes in July over Center Court and in the Grade 3 Eatontown at Monmouth Park June 29. She hasn't lost this year and is an intriguing 8-1 on the morning line for the Filly & Mare Turf. Jose Lezcano gets the call from post 7.
Alterite - French bred filly made her North American debut one to remember - a terrific win in the Grade 1 Garden City Stakes at Belmont Park September 14 and followed that with a good second last time out in the Grade 1 QE II Challenge Cup at Keeneland October 12. She had nine starts at home with three wins, two seconds and a third place finish. She hadn't won since March before the Garden City and had some rough results in some big races in France - a sixth in the Grade 1 Prix de Diane Longines-French Oaks and a tenth in the Grade 1 Poule d'Essai des Pouliches-French One Thousand Guineas. Alterite looks good ahead of this weekend however and is 10-1 on the morning line. John Velazquez has the mount from post 4.

Kitten's Dumplings - Michael Maker trained filly is a multiple graded stakes winner that has 12 career starts with six wins and a second place finishes. She headed into the Del Mar Oaks in August hot - three straight wins including in the Grade 2 Lake George, the Grade 3 Regret Stakes June 15 and the minor Edgewood Stakes - but she was a disappointing fourth in the Del Mar Oaks. Last time out however was a nice win in the Grade 1 QE II Challenge Cup at Keeneland October 12. Kitten's Dumplings starts from the outside post Saturday and is 10-1 on the morning line with Joel Rosario aboard.
Emollient - Bill Mott trained Emollient has 10 career starts with five wins and two second place finishes. She had a terrific nine length win in the Grade 1 Ashland Stakes at Keeneland at 6-1 odds April 6, a win in the Grade 1 American Oaks July 13 in her only career start on grass and a win last time out in the Grade 1 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes at Keeneland October 6. She has won every second start in her last seven overall but in between wins has been some uncharacteristically poor results sprinkled in as well. If the pattern holds true Emollient is due for another letdown. She is 12-1 on the morning line as leaves from post 8 with Mike Smith in the saddle.
Qushchi - H. Graham Motion trained British-bred mare has 21 starts overseas with three wins, two seconds and three third place finishes before debuting in North America March 7. She finished third and second in a pair of Allowance Optional Claiming races at Gulfstream and followed that with an OK third in her North American stakes debut - the Grade 3 Bewitch Stakes at Keeneland in April. She had a win in the minor Waya Stakes at Saratoga August 5 after a respectable second in the minor Keertana Stakes at Churchill Downs May 18 and last time out was fourth in her graded stakes debut - the Grade 1 Flower Bowl September 28. Qushchi is the longest shot in the field at 20-1 and will have Edgar Prado guiding her from post 9.
Lady of Shamrock - defending fifth place finisher in this race is a five time stakes winner (two Grade 1 scores) that had a pair of seconds recently -in the Grade 2 John C. Mabee to Tiz Flirtatious and in the Grade 2 New York Stakes to Starformer June 29 at Belmont Park after third in the Grade 1 Gamely Stakes at Hollywood Park May 27, a win via disqualification in the Grade 2 Santa Barbara Handicap and a second as even money favorite in the Grade 2 Santa Ana Stakes March 24 behind Tiz Flirtatious.
