A field of 10 is entered for Saturday's $250,000 Del Mar Debutante Stakes. Two of the top horses in the field are Killer Graces and Woebegon, but both were beaten as favorites in their last starts. The winner on Saturday could be headed for the Breeders' Cup Juvenile Fillies at Churchill Downs in November, so this is a huge race for these 2-year olds.

The $500,000 West Virginia Breeders' Classic will once again highlight an all-stakes card when the Silver Anniversary edition of the West Virginia Breeders' Classics is held at Hollywood Casino at Charles Town Races on October 15th. While official approval is still needed from the West Virginia Racing Commission, nine stakes, worth $1.345 million in total, are expected to comprise the Breeders' Classics card.
