The Oak Tree Breeders' Cup Mile Stakes is a Thoroughbred horse race run at Santa Anita Park in Arcadia, California during the annual Oak Tree Racing Association meet. A Grade II stakes raced on turf, it is open to horses age three and up willing to race one mile. Part of the Breeders' Cup Challenge series, the winner of the Oak Tree Mile Stakes automatically qualifies for the Breeders' Cup Mile. Inaugurated in 1986 as the Col. F. W. Koester Handicap, the name was changed to the Oak Tree Mile Stakes in 1996.
